10.6.15

hi

Hi beautiful human beings!
I just thought it would write a post.

So far my summer has been pretty good.
I have been working on design orders. Currently I am working on five custom designs!

Next week is Runner's Camp! It is a week long camp where you do track and field. I am too old to go to the camp, so I am a youth volunteer, witch is just as fun as being a camper. They split the camp up into age (6-12), boys and girls, and teams A and B. I just got my job this morning and I am get be with eight year old girls! They are my favorite! (#socute).

I am also looking forward to next month because I have two theatre camps. The first one is one week and we are doing "School House Rock Live". The second one is a month long and we are doing "Shrek Jr.". Both plays sound pretty stupid to me, but I am so excited to meet new kids (#theatrekidsarethebest) and be at the theatre every day!

So yeah, fun stuff.

How have you been?
Tell me stuff in the comments.
:)

American Pharoah

6.6.15
American Pharoah.
Triple Crown Winner.

Today the horse, American Pharoah, won the Triple Crown.

The Triple Crown has not been achieved since 1978.
The jockey, Victor Espinoza, has gone for the crown for three years in a row.
American Pharoah had won 6 races in a row leading up the winning races.

I'm not really into horses that much, but this was AWESOME!
I watched the race live up at my neighborhood clubhouse with a bunch of my neighbors.
The excitement once the race started was so fun! Everyone was yelling and screaming!

American Pharoah started out in first place, and never left.
No one could pass him. It was his race.

sugar sticks

I love our crazy selfies.
I love when we look in our cups like, how many sugars does dis have?
I love it when we eat "sugar sticks".
I love it when we play life, and we name all of our kids.
I love our different opinions when it comes to Percy Jackson.
I love our fundraisers that we do every summer.
I love our inside jokes.
I love our plans for the future.
I love our "ship to Canada" list.
I love "He Sat", "He Sits", "In a Room All Alone" ect.
I love how we can communicate without talking.

I think we kinda rock.

i have a new design!
I've been really getting into simplicity and minimalism.
maybe I'll do some posts about the subject.

story of my life...

came up with this.
pretty much life in one sentence.
ps. the handwriting is mine!  I uses the Ifont app to make it.
it was super fun!

12.3.15

plastic crowns

^picture via pinterest.

It's all shoved into our hands.
Responsibility awarded upon us, a heavy golden crown placed atop our small heads.
Despite the weight of it all, those crowns atop our headed were plastic and fake.

We're held accountable for things that are out of our grasp.
Responsible for the responsibility of those who could care less.
Exhaustingly impossible.

But for now, we're still kids.
Wild and free.

"remember me in your brain, camera face."

So some of your might remember the piece of writing
I did on my old blog, "One Picture".

a couple of people had asked for a sequel to it.
that was a quite a while ago, but I have finally
written one!

ps. check out the interview I did with my BFF Anna over on her blog!

He sat down.
It had been three weeks. Still no sign of her.
His flyers still cover the city, the ink starting to run and blur with the rain.
Running down street after street, asking everyone he passed, he began to wonder if it was worth it. Maybe it was better if he just left her alone, like she wanted.
Nobody seemed to care. They had no idea who this missing girl was, or what joy she brought to my face. It didn’t matter to them. They had bigger problems, like the decision of whether to order fries or a milkshake. Or both. Who cares.
He looked down at the picture he had taken of her. Remembering how long it took him to take it. Almost as long as he had been looking for her.
He sighed and calmly folded up the picture, and stuck it in his hoodie pocket. The subway was filling with people, squishing in the tiny tube underground. People walking through the doors, pushing through each other like if they didn’t get on the subway, the world was going to end.
They made their way past his posters of her he had taped to the walls of the subway. Some would glance at them, then look away. The subway doors closed, and they began to move.
“remember me in your brain camera face.”
Her voice echoed through his thoughts.
He sat down.
